The new chair of International and Monetary Macroeconomics" at the University of Konstanz invites applications for a position as a research assistant. Gross salary will be 50% of a full time position in accordance with the regulationsof German TV-L13.
The position is available from March, 2012, for an initial duration of three years (with a possible extension). The successful candidate will contribute to the chair's research and teaching responsibilities. She or he is expected to participate in the Doctoral Programme in Quantitative Economics and Finance at the University of Konstanz .
Applicants should have excellent analytical and mathematical skills as well as an interest in the research questions addressed by the chair. A very good scientic graduate degree in economics, mathematics, physics, or related elds is mandatory. Fluency in English is required.
