PhD scholarships in Germany

Universitat zu Koln - a.r.t.e.s. Forschungsschule Until Oktober 1st, 2010a.r.t.e. s. Research School (Anthropology Reception Transculturation Episteme Language) of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne offers 20 PhD scholarships and 20 collegiate places over a period of three years.

The only Research School for humanities and arts in NRW, Germany wants to facilitate the completion of the doctorate through a structured program and intensive individual mentorship. The main thematic emphasis lies on the extended understanding of epistemic processes including language, history, culture, mediality, anthropology, and ethics.
