PhD Student position-Investigation of membrane binding and organization in the lipid phase of small molecules and proteins

 

Bursary: 3 500 PLN/month (including 500 PLN/month health insurance)

The candidate has to apply (in parallel !) and to be admitted to the Graduate School of Physics at Maria Curie-Skodowska University in Lublin (Studium Doktoranckie Fizyki przy Uniwersytecie Marii Curie-Skodowskiej w Lublinie https://irk.umcs.lublin.pl/katalog.php?op=info&id=MFL_FIZ_SD&kategoria= )
or to other graduate school in Lublin.

Candidates have to:

- hold a MSc or equivalent degree in physics or in other related natural science disciplines, such as: biophysics, etc.,
- demonstrate exceptional motivation, creativity and problem-solving ability.

Application (either in Polish or in English language) has to contain:

- cover letter, with indicated position (with number: PhDSt #3) the candidate applies to
- Curriculum Vitae
- motivation letter
- list of published papers and communicates (if applicable)
- description of previous research activity (within the MSc project)
- recommendation letter (at least one) with e-mail address and telephone number of recommending person
- list of attended scientific conferences (if applicable)
- list of fellowships (if applicable)
- the duplicate of the MSc diploma or the document which certifies that candidate is a holder of a MSc or equivalent degree.
- A certified list of courses taken during last cycle of studies, with grades.
