Several PhD fellowships are available for highly motivated students with Chemistry or Materials Science background in the laboratory of Associate Professor Q. Yan at the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University, China.

The research will focus on the synthesis, characterization, and applications of nanomaterials. Emphasis will be on colloidal chemistry, colloidal self-assembly, photonic crystals, block-copolymer self-assembly, and other nanomaterials related. Candidates with interests in the above areas are especially encouraged to apply.
