The Paul Scherrer Institute is opening Postdoctoral Fellowship High-Temperature Solar Technology 2010 with 1300 employees the largest research centre for the natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland and a worldwide leading user laboratory. Its research activities are concentrated on the three main topics structure of matter, energy and environmental research as well as human health.

For the Solar Technology Laboratory we are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow High-Temperature Solar Technology

Your tasks
Research and development in the field of high-temperature solar chemical technology
Modelling, design, and testing of solar thermochemical reactors and processes
Collaboration in national and international research projects
Publication in refereed journals
Supervision of doctoral/master students and technical staff

Your profile
Ph.D. in mechanical/chemical engineering, material sciences, or related discipline
Solid background in thermal sciences

Highly motivated team player
Fluent in English with good writing skills
