Postdoctoral Position in Image Processing, Computational Neuroscience

The Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Complex Systems and the Department of Physics at Northeastern University, Boston, MA, invite applicants for a postdoctoral position in Image Processing / Computational Neuroscience to begin in the spring of 2010.

Successful candidate will work on the NIH sponsored project to develop algorithms for automating the process of neural circuit reconstruction from 3D light microscopy images.

Applicants should have a PhD in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline. Proven record of experience in image processing and machine learning, and strong computational and programming skills are required. Competitive salary will be based on qualifications.
