There are L2000 or L1000 per year for up to four years awarded to new International entrants on BSc, BEng and MEng programmes wholly within the school (i.e. excluding Physical Geography).

L2000 if you enter with an A Level Grade A average or equivalent.
L1000 if you enter with an A Level Grade B average or equivalent. To be confirmed for 2010 entry.

The programme of study must have been the applicant’s UCAS first choice. For years 2 and 3 (and 4 if appropriate) the award continues, provided excellence is maintained by achieving an average of 60% in the previous year’s study (60% is equivalent to an upper second class honours mark). Paid in the January of the Stage, provided the student is still fully registered on the programme.
