We are a young Research Group located at the University of Castellon. Our expertise lies in the area of Materials Sciences and Engineering, and our work is structured in five lines: Polymers for the packaging industry, Polymers for clean energy, Materials for biomedical applications, Functional coatings, and Corrosion protection.
What do we offer
During the first month (October), you will have all your expenses covered, and willparticipate in a paid Language training. You will be living in Valencia sharing the room
with another European intern.
For the following five months (November to March 2012), you will be hired to work withus in Castellon de la Plana, taking part in a reseach project to develop newcoatings. You will help us to:
a) Prepare new formulations;
b) Perform characterization tests;
c) Treat data;
d) Conduct desktop research.
We intend to submit an application for a European Project, and you would be involvedin the drafting.
You will have a contract under the Spanish Law, and after taxes you will receive 800euros per month. (You may be able to get back some of the taxes (24%) with yournext income tax declaration).

What are we looking for
Young graduates (under 30) looking to make the most out of their stay with us for theirfuture career development. We are looking for someone open-minded and a teamplayer, best if with previous experience abroad. Fluent English is a must. Basicknowledge of Spanish would be advisable.
We are looking for recent graduates in any field related to Material Sciences willing togain a experience that could lead them to work in the R&D department of a company,
