Students shall gain an enhanced knowledge of the rules and principles of standardization, Intellectual Property Rights and Competition Law. Furthermore, they are supposed to obtain an insight into the judgment policy of the European Competition authorities.

 

Students shall understand the practical matters and issues of the trade‐off between IPRs and standardization on the one hand, and competition law on the other. Typical problems concerning this trade-off and its effects for business and society will be identified and possible solutions presented. Course offered by Department of Law.
