THE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF BAHRAIN

The Medical University of Bahrain is a constituent university of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. The role of the University is to provide healthcare education and training to world standards in Bahrain, drawing students from Bahrain, the other GCC countries and beyond. Graduates of the medical course will be awarded the MD degree of the University. The standards set down by the World Federation for Medical Education will apply. The University which is currently housed in excellent accommodation in the Seef District of Manama, Bahrain will move in 2007 to a purpose built university campus adjacent to the King Hamad General Hospital. Clinical tuition will be provided in the King Hamad General Hospital and other healthcare facilities of the Ministry of Health.
