Norges Handelshoyskole (NHH - the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration) is a school that come into being as a result of the dedication and commitment of the business community in Bergen. It has grown from a small city centre building to a purpose built campus on the edge of the city with nearly 3,000 students and over 300 staff. Academic programmes have been expanded from the original 2 year Handelsdiplom programme to cover a wide range of offerings across the spectrum of Bachelor, Master, Executive MBA and doctorate programmes. The faculty has grown and developed from a handful of professors to a strong academic staff, focused on research and developing new ideas. The student environment has from the first days been a vibrant centre of social, sport and business activities, and continues to develop its range of activities.
