TAJIKISTAN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Tajikistan International University (TIU) was founded in 2003 by SADR Inc., SADR International University , which is a corporation based in the US and licensed by the Tajikistan Ministry of Education, and it was registered in the Tajikistan Ministry of Justice on December 26, 2003 under file number 001-549. TIU utilizes modern learning techniques, materials and curriculum. Anyone may attend TIU regardless of age, sex, race or any other factor. Tajikistan International University currently consists of the following establishing campuses and faculties. International Humanitarian University (IHU), Dushanbe , Tajikistan; SADR Learning Center (SLC); located in Dushanbe and 12 Counties within Tajikistan; Gymnasium of Tajikistan International University. International Humanitarian University was established on the basis of Tajikistan International University 's by-law and was approved by "The Board of Directors of "SADR" Inc., US t/a SADR International University . As of February 10, 2003 TIU was given the license #002 and registered in the Notary office of Frunze district, Dushanbe , Republic of Tajikistan under file number 3-18p-54, as March 27, 2003 . International Humanitarian University is a non - government educational institute implementing higher professional educational programs in accordance with the western standard of education in the fields of humanities and sciences. The Educational process will follow specific curriculum in any fields of study approved by the ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan under file number 3 k 385, as of May 14, 2003 and by The Board of International Humanitarian University, under 3-2, as of August 2, 2003. For the purpose of the proper delivery of these courses in any fields of study International Humanitarian University has a faculty including 4 educators holding Doctorate Degrees ( i.e. Professors ), 6- Masters of Sciences (Docent), 9-senior teachers and 15-teachers. International Humanitarian University uses virtual modern Technology, curriculum, active methods of teaching audio, video, computer assisted training and advanced educational technology. Deans of the campuses are educators holding Doctorate degrees from accredited University and Colleges. The Deans will be overseeing all courses, teaching and students for effective delivery of course and generally all educational processes in accordance with international standard of education. International Humanitarian University in it's third year of operation has established it's educational and operational format on the basis of the International system of education. During this initial "start-up" period, International Humanitarian University has changed the old Soviet format of education and has adopted the standard of World education course delivery and is also implementing preparation course which include English language and basic computer studies as first year requirements. Currently International Humanitarian University consists of 4 Colleges offering degree programs in 11-fields of study. The main goal of International Humanitarian University is to provide an educational experience equivalent to attending a western university. This education is hoped to provide each student with the skills and confidence needed for a successful future career. It has a Credit transfer program allowing students to transfer credits from other Tajik universities and will be argument with testing. There is also possibility of credits being granted for life experience. Interim assessments will be in the form of exams and/or tests for each course. Exams and tests can be written or oral. They may or may not coincide with the end of semester. Final exams and quality of education controls for the graduates of the university are based on the recommended method of accredited Universities and Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan.
