    Career Profile
    Automated processes are ubiquitous in modern engineering and industry. Robots and fully-automated car production facilities are typical examples. Future experts in developing and realising automated plant and production processes choose this specialisation field.
    Examples of future work for graduates in Plant Automation:
    >> planning and design of automated machines and plant components
    >> development of mechatronic systems
    >> parameterisation and programming of automation components
    >> research in the field of optimisation of automated processes
    >> management and leadership of automation projects
    Emphasis is on the operation and integration of components, working mainly in international teams.

    Fundamental engineering subjects such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and IT alongside Social Skills and English are studied in Semesters 1 and 2.
