  • Programme Description This programme is a multidisciplinary science that embraces geology, soil science, mineralogy, geochemistry, hydrology and oceanography. It is designed to give students a wide knowledge of the earth's mineral, soil and water resources. With this knowledge, earth science provides an understanding of these resources for their intelligent development and future management. The programme focuses on integrating the branches of earth science with special reference to New Zealand.
