  • Programme Description This degree is particularly well adapted for students interested in the applications of the physical sciences in medicine, biomedical science and biotechnology. It will provide an overview of all aspects of physics and physiology required for a career in biophotonics, biomedical imaging or instrumentation. Students will have the opportunity to proceed to postgraduate study in biophotonics, biomedical imaging or biophysics; and graduates of the programme could be part of a medical research team treating patients or be performing research and development in private companies or be involved in academic research in collaboration with a medical team if they pursue their education to PhD level.
