    Programme Description

"Environmental, Process & Energy Engineering" is a part-time Bachelor program that teaches problem-solving competence for a very wide range of engineering activities and thus makes a significant contribution to tackling today´s issues in the fields of energy and climate change. First-class lecturers from the worlds of science, engineering and business, a strong industry orientation and the limited number of places on the course guarantee excellent conditions for study with attractive prospects for the future. As a technical university program positioned at the interface to business and management, the BA in Environmental, Process and Energy Engineering satisfies the highest international standards.

Students in this program have to choose between two specializations:

SPECIALIZATION ENERGY ENGINEERING: With today´s growing scarcity of energy resources and unstable energy prices, energy engineering has become an integral part of economic activity in general with enormous potential for growth. The key aspects are now energy production from non-fossil primary energy carriers, the distribution of energy, and energy efficiency. The energy engineering program is targeted at these requirements. Course contents are taught on a scientific basis with a strong practical orientation.

SPECIALIZATION ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES: In view of the increasing pollution of our environment by waste and hazardous substances in waste water and emissions, and considering the related negative impact on the quality of our lives, technical environmental protection is gaining ever more importance. Over the past few years environmental technology has therefore not only developed into a key technology for our future but has also, from an economic perspective, become a growth sector.
