    Programme Description

This international Final Year programme has been created for students that have completed three years of higher education in Business Management or related study and wish to finish their four year bachelor programme with an international specialization or for students that have their bachelor title and wish to receive an additional (internationally acknowledged) Dutch bachelor degree in Management, Economy and Law (BBA) by completing this international Final year.

This final year programme offers an opportunity for international students (EU and non-EU) to learn to deal with international business challenges, experience inter cultural differences and develop new approaches to international cooperation in the business and public domain taking important legal and society issues into account. Related issues are: legal aspects of international business relations, corporate governance, business ethics and compliance to international codes. It is an opportunity to develop expertise in solving problems and dealing with issues that arise in international business activities where international business strategy meets political, legal and ethical demands. As a future international consultant you wish to expand your skills in cooperating with others in an inter cultural and international setting.

The programme offers good opportunities to develop relevant professional competencies like negotiating, advising, project management, inter cultural communication, doing research and translating legal knowledge into practical solutions. The courses contain a broad variety of lectures and workshops. As part of the programme you will be working on practical assignments for business and government. Learning by doing is a concept we believe in: a real life assignment not only motivates students but it also enables them to learn in a more effective way. This will enhance your skills in analyzing and solving problems in the field of international cooperation and business relations.

Assignments may concern issues like: integrity in public contracting, legal advice on international business expansion, comparative research on the establishment of legal entities, cross border cooperation or legal and economical issues concerning the European internal market. On successful completion of the Final year students will receive the internationally acknowledged degree of BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration).

    Career prospects

As a beginning professional you have learned to apply knowledge and skills suitable for management and staff positions at the middle or higher level in all sorts of organizations: i.e. profit and non-profit, governmental, industrial and service organizations.
