    Programme Description

Currently with a student corpus of over 1600, TU Delft´s faculty of Aerospace Engineering is one of Europe´s largest educational institutes specializing in aerospace and earth observation technology. A long history of technical excellence, innovation and teaching performance across a broad spectrum of space and aerospace disciplines enables graduates to take on the challenge of our future and provide technically imaginative and commercially viable solutions for this dynamic sector.

The Faculty aims to train engineers to respond effectively and rapidly to the vast range of engineering needs arising within the worlds of aerospace and earth observation technology. There are many. Students are encouraged to be confident, resourceful and bold in problemsolving, and at the same time, to cooperate and communicate across cultural borders.

The aerospace industry, satellites and earth observation systems are by definition global and thus multicultural activities. Graduates are alert, responsive, professional engineers, equipped to work all over the world and capable of giving due consideration to environmental and social impacts of technology. Whether as an engineer in industry, consultancy or the public sector, Delft engineers are in demand, both within the Netherlands and certainly abroad!
