Some of the questions you will work with are

    • the development of forestry, farming and foods - what are the consequences when villagers in Cameroon are close to destroying a forest area because the bark on the trees can be used by the pharmaceutical industry?
    • Which social and economic changes are needed to develop an area?
    • How is health and food safety ensured through food production?
    • How can improved food processing generate higher earnings for the local community?

With an MSc in Agricultural Development you will have the qualifications for becoming a consultant in a Danish or international organisation involved in development, eg. Danida, FAO or UNEP. You may also find employment in non-governmental organisations such as third-world countries e.g. DanChurchAid or CARE. You are also qualified for research positions in Denmark or with an international research institution.
