    Programme Description

The core questions that are dealt with concern the analysis, design, development, evaluation and implementation of effective solutions to curricular and instructional problems.

How to support schools and teachers with designing, developing and implementing a curriculum renewal at school and classroom level? How to design and develop learning environments focusing on learning by discovery with the use of educational computer simulations? These and many other questions are addressed in the Master's Programme Curriculum, Instruction and Media Applications (CIMA). If you choose to specialize in Educational Management, Evaluation and Assessment (EMEA), you will deal with questions like: What are the consequences of government policies like decentralisation? How can educational provision be better matched to demand? This specialization provides you with a wide range of know-how, from educational measurement and evaluation methods to organisational structuring, quality assurance and management. With the specialization Human Resource Development (HRD), you discover how important knowledge is to companies and other organisations and why it is in constant need to develop. How is quality guaranteed? How do clever innovations come about? These are just a few of the many questions you will try to answer.
