    Programme Description

    You will take four compulsory courses and two elective courses. You will write a dissertation of between 12,000 and 15,000 words, the preparation of which is supported by a compulsory programme of research training.

    The compulsory courses are:

    * Aid and development (CDS)
    * Growth and development (CDS)
    * The EU in international politics and development (Politics)
    * Comparative European politics (Politics).

    The list of electives includes the following:

    * Human rights and global politics
    * International security and global politics
    * Challenges in international politics
    * Critical perspectives on human rights
    * Development policy
    * Globalisation, trade and economic development
    * Project planning, appraisal and implementation
    * The IMF, World Bank and economic growth.
