    Programme Description

    Liverpool Hope Universitys MSc Health, Exercise and Nutrition aims to develop high quality postgraduates who are equipped to make informed decisions on the contribution of exercise and nutrition to health and the prevention of disease in the population.

    Furthermore it aims to develop students who are able to critically appraise the evidence base underpinning the role of nutrition and exercise in the promotion of health, thus being able to contribute to the development of new strategies and policy to improve health. Graduates of MSc Health, Exercise and Nutrition go on to careers in public health, both in private and public sector in the UK and overseas.

    The main areas of study focus upon developing critical understanding of the role of exercise and nutrition (both in children and adults) in the promotion of health.

    Future Career Opportunities

    You will be uniquely placed to work in either the statutory or voluntary section in health promotion and / or public health roles. Both of these sectors have a key responsibility and workforce agenda to meet government priorities of tackling physical inactivity, overweight and obesity and
    other prevention of other chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease.
