In what way can the user command and manipulate the machine? Interactions between the human user and the machine are the main focus of the Human Media Interaction Master's degree course. Students learn about various aspects of human-media interaction, ranging from basic technological issues to advanced topics in natural modes of interaction and intelligent media. This includes topics like speech and natural language processing, virtual reality, robotics and artificial intelligence. The degree course involves assignments (to practice the design of complex, multi-modal interfaces) and subjects (to examine the socio-human factors of media and their interfaces).
