  • Programme Description This is a program of supervised original research. It culminates in the submission of a thesis that demonstrates the ability for critical analysis and research that makes a significant and original contribution to the knowledge and understanding of the field of study. The current research areas include Aquaculture genetics, Cultivation of tropical molluscs, particularly pearl oysters), Nutritional, reproductive and stress, physiology in fish, Nutritional requirements of broodstock and larval stages, Crustacean aquaculture and larval ecophysiology, Settlement cues, biofouling prevention, and marine natural products and Sponge biology and aquaculture.
