EIUC Venice School of Human Rights was born in 2010 with the goal of studying today%E2%80%99s challenges in the field of human rights. It allows its participants coming from all over the world to list these challenges and examine their reasons and possible solutions they can deploy. The EIUC Venice School at the same time, combines theory and practice and its faculty involves both academics and practitioners.The Venice School intends to highlight that the respect for human rights is the responsibility of all, that %C2%AB Human Rights are our responsibility %C2%BB.

Target group
These courses are addressed to postgraduate students from all academic backgrounds, students from the different regional masters in human rights and democratisation, to E.MA alumni as well as to human rights practitioners willing to deepen and improve their knowledge in human rights issues.

Course aim
The EIUC Venice School of Human Rights will update participants on the state of the art debate on human rights issues and stimulate their reflection on the current challenges faced by human rights actors worldwide. After an introduction on current challenges, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about one of these 3 selected topics "Business and Human Rights", "Technical Progress and Human Rights" and "echnical Progress and Human Rights".

EUR 1000: It will include tuition fee, lunches on class days, accommodation in a shared double-room in Venice for 9 nights (26 June - 4 July 2014 included)
