In this school participants will be introduced to the basics of 3D GIS and Augmented Reality (AR). The participants will work in the historical center of Viggiano, a small village in Basilicata Region with an old and fascinating history. The urban structure is medieval but are still preserved numerous stone portals from XIX Century. Most of them have wonderful keystones with figure and dates of construction.After completing the workshop, the participants will gain transferable skills in GIS and Augmented Reality (AR). The participants will be able to create 3D maps, 3D models of some portals and keystones, Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and simple solutions using AR.
