A Tale of Two Cities: DEBRECEN, the Calvinist Rome and EGER, the Stronghold of Christian Europe

This course is designed as a unique travelling summer programme and offered for those people who are interested in Central European and particularly Hungarian history from an all-European perspective. While the idea is to revive and understand the events%E2%80"the Turkish invasion of Europe and the spreading of the Reformation%E2%80"that changed the course of life and development in this part of the world, students of the course will have ample opportunities to visit historic sites in both Debrecen and Eger and to experience the living heritage of the past in an interactive way.
