calendar_month 29 Iul 2015, 00:00
Arbitration is a form of alternative dispute resolution that has been gaining an increasing popularity in the resolution of international commercial law disputes. Arbitration has therefore become an alternative to litigation in the international trade community for resolving legal disputes. This unit covers a general study of the fundamental principles and rules underlying international commercial arbitration. The unit addresses the different requirements for starting an international commercial arbitral procedure, the rights and obligations of the arbitral tribunal, the different rules and principles surrounding the arbitral procedure and the laws and rules relating to the end of the arbitral process and the ways of recognising and enforcing an arbitral award.
