Asian-Austrian-EU Summer Programme

Since the year 2002 the Chinese Studies Center of the University of Salzburg in cooperation with Eurasia-Pacific Uninet (EPU) has been annually organizing the Asian-Austrian-EU Summer School for students from Chinese and European universities. The aim is to promote the mutual understanding among students from different countries.The Asian-Austrian-EU Summer School will take place in Salzburg, Vienna, Brussels and Paris. Berlin and Heidelberg will be our new destinations in Germany. Short trips to Venice (Italy), Luxemburg (Luxemburg), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Prague (Czech Republic) and Dresden (Germany) are also part of the program.Lectures will be held in Salzburg, Vienna, Heidelberg, Paris and Brussels. Students will be attending the offered lectures (not in that order): 1. Politics 2. German Literature 3. Philosophy 4. History 5. International marketing 6. Music 7. Cross-cultural researchVisits to European Parliament, European Commission and European Council are also part of the programme.

Course leader
We have guest professors from Salzburg University, Vienna University of Economics and Business, Paris Descartes University and Heidelberg University.

Target group
International students (undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate) of all fields of studies.

Course aim
Our participants should get the chance to deepen their knowledge in different fields, such as politics, history and philosophy.

Credits info
5 ECTS Participants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the summer school.Students who wish to receive the 5 ECTS credits are required to participate in the full programme.

Fee info
EUR 2500: The total student participation fee is EURO 2.500,-- covering course costs, tuition, room plus breakfast, sightseeing tours, official entrances and travel expenses (buses will take you from city to city) in Europe.
