Big History: An introduction to 13.8 billion years of history since the Big Bang

"Big History" is a recent and multidisciplinary school of history that emphasizes "the grand narrative" spanning the 13.8 billion years of our universe. (Course in English).

All those who would like to see how their knowledge fits into the biggest of all possible pictures.

Course aim
The aim of the course is to explore the total history of everything, linking humanity to the wider Universe and to learn the underlying patterns and themes that connect all the academic disciplines and beds of knowledge. The goal is to combine a unique academic experience with a week of relaxation in an exceptional setting. Classes will be held mornings only for a total of 18 hours. Afternoons will be free for rest, sightseeing and leisure at stunning Atlantic beaches 10 mn away. Social and cultural activities are planned.

Fee info
EUR 480: Registration only; includes coffee breaks ("Early bird" fee: until May 31; 550 after). EUR 650: Registration + coffee breaks + 5 buffet lunches + 3 social activities ("Early bird" fee: until May 31; 750 after). Accommodation not included - but available at attractive prices.
