%E2%80%9CCHANGEMAKERS %E2%80" imagining futures%E2%80%9D is a transdisciplinary and process based summer school course, which highlights how processes and products can enable societal change and impart real impact in relation to actual challenges within contemporary culture and society. In this way, the course aims to combine the students%E2%80%99 specific competencies and subject knowledge into a powerful tool for changemaking within society. Furthermore, the students will work together with children as peers on campus to imagine and design for better futures. Consequently, students will, together with children, address real challenges within children%E2%80%99s lifeworld or everyday life as they work and participate together in an effort to imagine and design for better futures within reallife contexts.The aim of the course is to gain insight into, discuss, critically reflect on and productively put to use different humanistic professions in a generative way in order to strengthen, sharpen and nuance one%E2%80%99s own profession in relation to %E2%80%98changemaking%E2%80%99 as phenomenon, practice and design. In this way, the distinctive humanistic theoretical, analytical, methodological and design-oriented skills and competencies of the individual student is put into play and put to use in the interdisciplinary working group. The course consists of equal amounts curriculum (theory about & analysis of changemaking) and practicum (development & presentation of conceptual products in relation to changemaking) that comes together through reciprocal theoretical-practical %E2%80%98learning by doing%E2%80%99
