Conceptual Design and Development of Innovative Products (CD-DIP)Again this year, we offer students the opportunity to participate in Summer School CD-DIP - this time effective from 28 June %E2%80" 17 July 2015 at Bang & Olufsen%E2%80%99s factory site in Struer, Denmark. Focus is on conceptual design and the development of innovative products and that is why it is often referred to as "Innovation Camp".CD-DIP AwardsIn 2014 the CDDIP received the Aarhus University annual Award for %E2%80%9CBest University-Industry Collaboration Project%E2%80%9D. In 2013 & 2014 the CDDIP attracted the attention of ministers, ambassadors, CEO%E2%80%99s from Denmark and China and ERASMUS delegates from EU. For students this camp adds high value to their CV%E2%80%99s. Why this focus?In an increasingly globalised world, employees capable of coming up with innovative ways to define concepts for new designs and for the subsequent production process are an invaluable resource. In addition, the complexity of products is increasing continuously. To master these challenges, employees with different disciplinary and cultural backgrounds must be able to collaborate efficiently in short windows of opportunities. ObjectivesThe objective of this summer school is to facilitate better interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary collaboration for BSc and MSc students with different technical backgrounds. PhD students that are able to combine theoretical skills with practical usage will also be able to attend. Get involvedThe summer school is organised and coordinated by Aarhus University School of Engineering and co-organised by several partnering universities and institutions in Denmark, Europe and China.Are you studying at one of these institutions?
