The business schools of Hanze (UAS) offer the programme %E2%80%98Doing Business in Europe%E2%80%99. This first-class summer school experience takes you on a journey throughout the European world of business. To supply you with the broadest range of information, the course provides you with general subjects to fairly specialized subjects, ranging across the full scope of international business. We also want to enrich the programme for our foreign guests with interesting parts of our culture and business excursions, which has turned us into the trading nation which we are. Last year, we visited for example Philips, Groningen SeaPorts, GasUnie and Beck's. The three main topics in this course are: - Marketing, Market Entry, Business - Eurozone, Legal, Financial, Political - Intercultural Management, European (Business) Cultures, Personal Management, Leadership

Target group
Students with a major in Business and professionals working in international business. Admission RequirementsWhen you want to apply for the course there are certain admission requirements. These requirements concern your knowledge of the English language, as well as your educational background. For non native English speakers there is a required IELTS score of 6.0, but we prefer an 6.5. Next to that, we expect our students to follow/or have followed a business study.

Course aim
The aim of this course is to introduce European business to business students and professionals from other continents. Next to the study programme and the social programme, Hanze (UAS) Groningen Summer School offers the possibility to have some real business experience! During your stay in the Netherlands you will be visiting businesses that play a role in Europe. Last year, we visited businesses like Groningen SeaPorts, Becks and Philips.
