University of the Aegean (Rhodes, Greece), is offering an eleven-day summer school on the educational user of Virtual Reality. Target group
Our Summer School is addressed to PhD, MSc and undergraduate students with educational or ICT studies. It is also addressed to educators that want to integrate 3D applications in their teaching activities. ICT professionals that want to get involved in the development of educational software are also welcome to attend the Summer School.

Course aim
The participants will be acquainted with modern learning theories, teaching methods and the educational uses of Virtual Reality. They will know how to navigate in a virtual world, how to create content and how to implement educational scenarios. The above will bring them to the forefront of educational technology. A large proportion of the summer school is dedicated in the use of a 3D virtual world developing tool. Participants will have hands on experience in creating an educational game and will have the chance to apply in practice what they have learned in the theoretical part.
