The 1st Summer School on Emerging Architectures and Key Technologies for 5G Networks (Aegean-NetCom2015) organized by the University of the Aegean in Samos island provides a unique educational experience to participants, as they will be able to interact and familiarize with academics and researchers of the University of the Aegean and the collaborating Universities, Research Institutes and Enterprises across Europe. The presenters have novel and innovative work in the field of networking technology with participation in national and international projects and publications in top-ranked journals. Target group
The Aegean-NetCom Summer School is open to undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and professionals in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information and Communication Technology, who are interested in a comprehensive overview and broad coverage of the forthcoming "5G Network". Successful candidates must show a promising academic or business track in the scientific areas of the Summer School.

Course aim
The aim of the Aegean-NetCom Summer School is to enable and motivate participants to involve in innovative and novel networking architectures and technologies, such as the aforementioned topics. Consequently Aegean-NetCom will offer additional skills towards shaping a successful graduate, a successful researcher and inevitably a professional with strong awareness around the area of 5G Networking.

Credits info
4 ECTS A total of 4 ECTS will be granted to the participants that will successfully complete a research assignment 6 weeks after the end of the Summer School.
