This innovative summer programme will combine English language studies with practical art and design projects. During the mornings you will spend time with our language tutors building your skills and confidence in listening, reading, speaking and writing. In the afternoons you will be hosted in our art and design studios where you will apply your new language skills to either art and design or fashion projects.The course is ideal for anyone who has attended English language lessons at an introductory level. You do not need to have any art and design experience to benefit from this course.

Course leader
Tutors will be from our art and design and fashion departments, as well as our Language Centre.

This programme is for people from around the world who want to improve their language skills and explore art and design.

Course aim
The aim is to enhance your English skills through creative, visual projects so that you can construct a journal of your UK experience and present this with confidence through verbal, visual and written mediums.

Credits info
Upon successful completion you will receive a certificate to say you have attended and achieved a level of attainment expected by our academic staff. If you wish to receive credit for your time in the UK you will need to arrange this with your faculty at home before you attend. NTU can supply module specifications to assist in calculating a credit equivalency. As a guide the summer programme is equivalent to 2.5 ECTS per week.

Fee info
GBP 0: The fee includes tuition, most materials and course-related travel. It also includes accommodation which you can book at the same time as your course.
