Target group
Bachelor or master level students having basic knowledge in ecology, environmental or aquatic sciences.
Course aim
After completing the course, the students have knowledge of different Finnish freshwater ecosystems from headwaters to coastal waters of the Baltic Sea. Students will have gained insights into how the land use in catchment areas affects the freshwater quality and biology. They will also have learned basic sampling and analytical methods used in freshwater ecology
Fee info
EUR 1400: This course fee applies to degree and PhD students and it includes the housing during the course and full board at the research stations.
