EU Business Law and WTO Trade Practice Summer School is a three-week academic program organized by the Institute for European Studies at the Saint-Louis University, Brussels (Belgium) and the Dean Rusk Center at the University of Georgia School of Law (U.S). We offer a multimodal program from one to three weeks in Brussels and Geneva:1st week program in Brussels - Introduction to the Legal System of the European Union: 2nd week program in Brussels - Aspects of European Union Business Law 3rd week program in Geneva - International Trade Law and Practice under the World Trade Organization (WTO): This course examines legal issues and trade practices under the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Target group
This summer program is open to up to 35 participants: advanced students (who have completed at least the 2nd year of their degree), young graduates and professionals with a background in law, political sciences, economics, and any other relevant disciplines that can be related to the topics of the program. All courses are taught in English. Eventhough applicants are not required to present an official certificate of language proficiency, they have to be fluent in English in order to follow the courses, to actively participate in classroom discussions, and to interact with other participants. Each week includes conferences, social events and visits to international organizations and to leading law firms in Brussels, Luxembourg and Geneva.

Course aim
