Course leader
Dr. phil. II, Dr. h.c. Max Schweizer, ret. Minister, served as a diplomat for the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs for 32 years. Since 2012 he is Senior Lecturer at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) School of Management and Law,
Course aim
Program topics will include International Politics & Organizations and Foreign Economic Policy. In addition, participants gain an insight into Swiss-EU relations. Excursions to Geneva and Berne as well as meetings with key decision makers will enable them to discuss topical issues. In addition, there will be an opportunity to hear directly from experienced diplomats and foreign affairs experts such as members of the Association SwissDiplomats ZurichNetwork.
Credits info
6 ECTS After successful completion of the program, you will receive 6 ECTS credits and a certificate of attendance from the ZHAW School of Management and Law.
Fee info
CHF 2500: The program costs CHF 2,500 (includes course material, company visits, and welcome/farewell events). A 10% price reduction is available to students from partner institutions. Contact the International Office at your University to get the discount code for partner institutions. Accommodation is not included in the Price. The Summer Academy team will provide you with a list of attractive accommodation options near the campus.
