Genetics one of the exiting fields of science plays an important role with studies of complex diseases. As we are living in an era of technological wonders, medical laboratory techniqians are able to work with the latest innovative instruments to detect and diagnose various diseases. In this line, the designed course will provide students the opportunity to learn not only the theoretical part of the genetics but also apply the practical part in our laboratories by using PCR/RT-PCR, agarose jel electrophoresis and bioinformatics tools.
