University of Geneva Summer School jointly with the UNCTAD-UNIGE Sustainability Research CentreThe Geneva CSR Summer School on Global CSR issues provides insights on how the business sector addresses environmental, human rights or sustainable development issues through corporate social responsibility (CSR). It delves into the interactions between governments, international organizations, civil society and businesses through lectures at University of Geneva and site visits at the United Nations Office in Geneva, UN specialised agencies and companies.

Programme-Concepts and definitions of CSR; tools for implementation-Global issues and business involvement: environment, human rights, finance, labour, global health-Sustainability leadership-Site visits to companies and to the United NationsCourse Program 2015 (Will be published early 2015)6 ECTSWhat you will learn-You will get exposure to the latest global challenges in sustainability and how they are addressed by the business sector and the United Nations through a mix of lectures, case studies and site visits.

Credits info
6 ECTS Each summer school will indicate its equivalence in ECTS credits in its description. Participants will be provided with a Certificate of Completion of the course if they satisfy attendance and evaluation requirements. It is the participant's responsibility to verify the validity of the course and validate it at their home university prior to participating in the course.

CHF 2300: Deadline: April 15, 2015A limited number of partial scholarships are available. Priority will be given to participants from developing countries.Tuition fees do not include housing or accommodation.
