The course is intended to be a very intense design experience in the city of Barcelona, through practical subjects, monographs and visits to studios of different fields, with resident professionals that have been working with the city from numerous points of view: space, objects, garments, communication. The multiple subjects are in interrelation to conclude with a final expository project.rn

The Summer Course in Global Design is addressed to people interested in taking their first steps in different Design disciplines. Students from different university degrees who want to have a multidisciplinary experience in the world of design.

Course aim
- Use the city of Barcelona as starting point to perform several routes related to every discipline.rn- Comprehend how different designers in town work.rn- Formalize a creative experience with a final project.rn- Provide a basis of technical knowledge that will help students to direct and concrete their initial ideas.rn- Enhance a receptive attitude, along with the analytic one, the relevance of procedure for the development of an idea, the need of a strong and coherent concept to obtain good projects and formalization of ideas in every stage of the process.
