Have an idea for a business but don%E2%80%99t know where to begin?INITS, ranked the third best university business incubator in Europe, is offering a course on how to start a startup. Students will be immersed in the Austrian startup scene and will emerge with a strong understanding of what it takes to enter the startup scene.The course will cover topics such as ideation, marketing, fundraising, pitching, and development. Each course session will be supplemented by case studies based on successful startups that have passed through the INITS incubator. Participants will also take a field trip to INITS, where they will have the opportunity to interact with mentors, experts, and entrepreneurs from current startups.On the first day, participants will be assigned a specific technology. For the remainder of the course, they will develop and refine a business model for this technology. They will gain real-world communication skills as they conduct customer interviews and receive feedback during coaching sessions. This process will culminate in a comprehensive pitch and presentation on the final day of class to a panel of their peers, as well as experts and entrepreneurs from the Austrian startup community.At the conclusion of the course, each participant should have detailed knowledge of how to turn his or her business ideas into reality.

6 ECTS Participants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the summer school and all necessary documentation to validate the course at their home university.
