Implementing high quality web surveys
calendar_month 29 Iul 2015, 00:00
The course will focus on conducting high quality web surveys by discussing the key methodological issues when pre-fielding, fielding, and post-fielding a web survey. The participants will be guided at each of these three steps by evidence-based research that will help them to make the best decisions in terms of survey quality. New challenging issues such as multiple device surveys will be discussed as well. Some previous knowledge about key concepts of survey research is helpful, but not required. The participants are encouraged to come with their own web survey examples or questions for future studies to make the classes more interactive and very practical. In fact, the last hour and 15 minutes of the short course will be a consulting session where students are invited to come with a short presentation of their research project. Mario Callegaro, together with the whole class, will advice each research project and give practical suggestion on how to make it more successful in terms of survey quality.
