Interior design is about more than some nice chairs and lampshades. A professional designer will look at how people use space and design accordingly. They will look at how a space makes the use feel dependent on whether it is designed to encourage relaxation or a busy, dynamic vibe.By the end of the course you will have produced a model and drawings related to your project in London that can form part of your portfolio.In Barcelona you will have developed a second project that deepens your knowledge and provides you with the necessary skills for professional communication and presentation.

Target group
This course is suitable for students new to interior design or those who have done some interior design previously. The course in London will be a general introduction to interior design, whilst Barcelona will focus on restaurants, bars and other public spaces, so students should have an interest in designing for these areas.

Course aim
You will leave the course with a tool kit of skills that can be applied to any interiors project and a reinvigorated creative thought that will steer you away for the obvious response to a brief and force you to think creatively.
