Oxford Summer College is a two week university preparation course held in the heart of Oxford. International relations classes w introduce students to the study of the relationships between territorial states and how the international system functions. Students will consider the forces and motivations that influence different states and how customs, rules and institutions are impacted as new connections are made and broken.Students will consider past alliances and conflicts in order to gain a deeper understanding of the burning issues of our times. The course will look at the composition of a range of international communities and will consider the impact of war on global policy and international order. Course aim
Students will use theoretical concepts and empirical data to analyse real world situations and attempt to answer these pertinent questions. The chance to apply their knowledge to world events as they unfold will provide great intellectual stimulation and help students develop vital skills over the course of an exciting and fast-paced programme.

Fee info
GBP 3995: The course fee covers all tuition, accommodation and meals in Pembroke College. It also covers all activities, excursions included in the course and airport transfers between Oxford and London. Flights to and from London are not included.
