Izmo will run the 5th edition of the International Summer School in Turin (Italy) from 22nd to 31st of July 2015. This year, the focus will be on the public space, and students will design and build street furniture and installations in order to set up an open air cinema in Chieri (Turin).The project is developed in collaboration with Techlab, a community-operated workspace in Chieri.The Summer School is taught in English.At the end of the lessons, participants will work on the design and production of street furniture and installations using sustainable materials, in order to set up an open air cinema in a public green area inside a brownfield, in the city of Chieri.The installation will be inaugurated by a friendly and informal ceremony, showing a movie in collaboration with the movie theater and the Municipality of Chieri.Each student will be equipped with all necessary materials and work tools and will be mentored by Izmo and Techlab staff in every phase of the project.Participants students will be awarded 4 credits, issued by the Politecnico di Torino and valid at any other university.In addition, we will provide constant help in logistics, housing research, mobility, and tourism.

4 ECTS Participants students will be awarded 4 credits, issued by the Politecnico di Torino and valid at any other university.he application for admittance must be submitted by June 18th, 2015 through the enrollment form.

EUR 395: The tuition is fixed at 395 per student that sends in the admission application by 24:00 on June 18th, 2014.The applications will be evaluated by a committee formed by members of Izmo. The students will be selected on the basis of the similarities between the candidate's profile and the objectives of the Summer School, and will be evaluated in the order in which they are received. Non Italian students will be given preference.The committee's final decision will be communicated via email to each candidate after 4 days. Selected candidates will have 7 days' time (by the 29th of June) to complete the application process by submitting the indicated tuition payment.In the unexpected case of a candidate not being able to take part in the course, a reimbursement will be provided in the amount of 50% of the submitted tuition payment. EUR 450: The application for admittance must be submitted by July 16th, 2015 through the enrollment form.The applications will be evaluated immediately by a committee formed by members of Izmo. The students will be selected on the basis of the similarities between the candidate's profile and the objectives of the Summer School. Non Italian students will be given preference.The committee decision will be communicated via email to each candidate within one day after the student's submission.Selected candidates will have 7 days to complete the application process by submitting the indicated tuition payment.
