An 8-day residential course based on two major projects. The 2015 Theme project is "Doing GENRE with STYLE", an exploration of psychological realism (acting), non naturalism (acting), the new commedia (commedia-based farce) and the witty lyrics of G&S, Sondheim, etc. (singing and acting). Skills projects include the directors toolbox (directing), character development (acting), slapstick and timing (comedy) and choral singing (singing)

Target group
Actors, directors and music theatre singers as well as less regularly writers/devisers. LEATSS is particularly suited to amateur enthusiasts (and those who may be a little hesitant) who wish to develop and improve their practical skills, knowledge, understanding and capabilities. Because the emphasis is on process and not product (how can we do it, not how well do we perform), we can encompass a wide range of age, experience and skill.

Course aim
Our aim is to enrich, nourish and nurture. To do this we provide expert professional tuition within a friendly and fully supportive environment. All tutors have a wide and impressive track record as professional theatre practitioners and teachers and our tutor-to-participant ratio is high. With 4 tutors and 40 to 50 participants, we generally have one tutor to 10 or so participants.

EUR 800: Tuition, full board and lodging (shared accommodation). Supplement for single room accommodation is 90 . Supplement for en suite accommodation is 130 . EUR 600: Day student - Tuition, full board (meals), no accommodation

Scholarships
Five scholarships are offered for a fee of 300 (tuition, board, shared accommodation)
