calendar_month 29 Iul 2015, 00:00
Throughout this course students will work with open-ended problem-solving activities in a context that makes it fun and engaging to learn using science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It combines science and mathematics concepts with soft skills, such as creative thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills, boosting 21st-century learning skills. All projects follow a design engineering process as used by real engineers. Students are guided through the process, starting with a brief description that explains the challenge, continuing with videos of robots in action to make real-life connections, and culminating with a final project that can be shared and presented.

They will learn to implement this solution and construct a Lego Mindstorms robot. Students will learn to program basic behaviors of a robot. By the end of this workshop students will be able to design, construct program solutions for real- life problems using robots. Students will be able to test and refine their program and Lego construction.
