Managing tourism after the crisis - A Mediterranean Perspective
calendar_month 29 Iul 2015, 00:00
The period after 2008 has been a period of crisis for many countries of the world, not least for those of the Mediterranean region. During the crisis, with their longstanding involvement in international tourism, the countries around the Mediterranean faced many similar issues in relation, for example, to market demand, maintaining competitiveness, and securing investment, product development and employment. Now that the world economy is emerging from the economic crisis the same countries are taking stock of their futures in tourism and finding ways of securing or re-establishing their positions as leading world tourist destinations. This short executive programme brings together some of the leading world academic specialists in tourism to work with leaders of tourism from across the Mediterranean region. For more information and registration, please visit: https://matour2015.pns.aegean.gr/
